Summer Internship

A few weeks ago, in between our CRMC pitches, Kate from The Print Manufactory came in offering an internship opportunity at their space in Fargo Village. I thought this sounded really interesting and emailed Kate for some more information. They want people to work in the space with artists for 8 hours per week, helping out generally with running the studio space. In return, interns will get access to the studio space and will be asked to create pieces and put on an exhibition, create a publication, and whilst being there will be asked to promote the space through social media.

I went for an interview with Kate and managed to secure myself this place. I will be starting after uni finishes and will be working one/two days each week over the summer.

This is really exciting as it will give me some experience in hands on design, and will also allow me to work with other local creatives and impact their work within Coventry.

I will also be able to practice skills and work closely with other interns to create a piece at the end of our time there.
