Client Meeting 3

Attendance: Katie, Matt

Today we had a meeting with Aris, when we discussed what we have done so far this week in terms of the design work.

I showed him the logo so far, this is what I had managed to do before todays meeting:

Aris really liked the look of the logo so far, and the idea of the GIF. I want to make sure the GIF is ready for next time as well, so I can show him it.

Matt walked Aris through his web ideas so far. He had made a start of XD so this made it really easy to show Aris how the website would work. Aris said "it looks better than I'd ever imagined".

We asked Aris to give us some categories, like Rebecca had suggested. This will also link in with Matt's idea nicely. Aris said we can play with this idea, and he likes it, but it may be a challenge because he might need another assistant to help him with categorising words.

The search bar idea Aris liked. This will be better than having the filters.

Aris also really liked the figure/character illustrations idea as it makes it more personalised. We need to ask Jessie if she will be able to create these for us to take forwards.

Matt and Aris briefly discussed log ins, teachers could have them, but for children this will become a child protection matter. This will also be a published piece of research, so needs to be accessible to the public.

The colours in both the flags and the website tie in nicely together and Aris said they are very expressive.

He wants us to consider the use of 'Bilex Teach' and 'Bilex Learn'. He likes the use of learn but thinks 'Teach' isn't quite right, as researchers will use this too, who are not necessarily using it to teach children. We need to consider this name.
