Visiting R/GA

While in Berlin, the lecturers had arranged for us to visit one of two Graphic Design studios. I went to R/GA who are "an American international Innovation firm headquartered in New York — with additional offices that include Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Portland, London, Berlin, Istanbul, Bucharest, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney, and Tokyo."

On their website they say they're "an innovation platform connecting industry leaders with the emerging companies that can push their businesses forward."

Their talk was interesting, they went through some processes of creating design work in industry, the standard that is required and the thought process behind it.

They also showed us some work they did with Google.

It was also interesting to be in a meeting room, and look round the space they work in. I'm really glad we got to go there and experience a real studio space and speak with some other designers.
