YOG Joseph Review

Over the weekend, I went to see YOG's performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. (YOG are Coventry's Youth Opretta Group) My friend, Olivia, was drumming the performance, and because the band were on the floor, we were right next to her and could see her drumming.

The performance itself was by a group of young performers in Coventry. They were all amazingly talented and the performance was a really beautiful adaptation of the musical.

Set-wise, it was stripped to the bare bones, but there was nothing more needed! The multilayered staging complemented the singing and acting so well.

All the actors were incredibly talented and are a credit to Coventry. It makes it clear why we are City of Culture 2021!

I will definitely be going to see more YOG performances in the future, as they are as talented as any 'professional' actors I have ever seen.
