Print Manu Factory
Last week, I went to visit the new Print Manu Factory in FarGo Village. I had heard about it after speaking with John at the Shop Front Theatre, as this is something he has set up with a group of creatives. We went and visited, and John showed us around everything they have and do.
The space is beautiful, they have their own screen printing facility, dark room and I believe they wish to add some more computers for digital work.
They also have their own 'shop' selling prints and work, some beautiful stationary, and a range of cacti - from really cute mini ones to ones in lovely pots to BIG cacti.
I bought 3 minis. I also bought some really cool cat stickers, I love them so much, but have not decided what to do with them yet. Once they're stuck, they're stuck.
Here are some photos:
I didn't manage to take many as I was too busy looking round to stop and take photos.
Anyway, they also offer classes in screen printing, the dark room, and some photography classes.
I am interested in taking part in the screen print class, as some of the work that has been produced is beautiful. I was hoping to create something as equally lovely to go in my portfolio, to show another more unusual skill to people in my class, and to show I can use a range of mediums if needed.
Here is the link to their site if you are interested in doing any classes:
