1SE - September 2018

Here is my completed September 1 Second Everyday video. I have really enjoyed using the app. It is easy to add video clips either from your phone or to record them on the app. It lets you trim the videos too, making sure they are exactly one second, and to make sure you have picked the best second from your clip. The app easily lets you export the clips and merges them together for you with the dates. You can also easily swap clips in and out from eachother, adding a maximum of two per day.

I think this process has allowed me to remain creative while documenting a really hectic month of birthdays and events. I wish I would have found it before the summer so I could have documented that as well. I will definitely continue to use this app as I think it is amazing, and is 100% worth the money.

However, some changes I would make are:

Firstly, even though you have paid £4.99 you still have to pay more if you want the app to do some other things, such as make clips longer or add music to your video. For me, the length of the clips are not a problem. To avoid "going pro" I simply exported the video and then edited the music onto it myself using iMovie.

The second change is about me, I would, in the future, only upload one clip per day instead of sometimes having one and sometimes having two. One per day makes it more consistent and makes that one clip per day more special and memorable, rather than having two, which makes the video longer as well.

Anyway, without further ado, here is the video:

It has been a really special and creative way to record my month. I really like how it is different to just writing something down or taking a photo. It is also short and snappy.

I plan to continue to make these videos as they are short, sweet, fun and make looking back on memories that little bit more special. I defianatley reccomend the app, you should check it out and do your own!

Thanks for reading,
