Working with In It Together!

After dropping cheeky hints for ages about wanting to work with In It Together, they asked me to have a go at designing their new running flyer! This is because they had seen the illustrations I had done for Paula's module on Twitter and liked the style. They wanted something similar for this flyer. I was so excited about being asked to do it and spent ages on the project. It was one of those things where you just say you will do a bit, and get so engrossed, and hours later you are still there working on the same thing until its done.

Here is the final design:

And here are the steps of development I went through before completing the poster:

I firstly sketched my idea out for them to see if they would like it. I began by doing the background and then the illustrations. I then placed the illustrations on, and began adding all the logos and text in layers. I sent my final draft over to them, and the did their tweaks. EG. the logos at the bottom had to be on a white background.

I am really impressed with my final outcome and am really proud of what I have achieved. I can't believe that my work is actually being used for this company to promote their course. In the first (half) day of the poster being used, over 10% of the places were filled. I am really proud of how far I have come and being able to work with In It Together to create things like this is something I have wanted for ages. I hope I can continue to work with them to create more in the future, as I really enjoy what they do, and love working with them, and I know that working with them will be good for my future in design.

Thanks for reading!
