Building Kennels in the Sand

As a child, every year I would go to France with my parents and grandparents. I used to be obsessed with my toy dogs and me and my dad and grandad would always make them kennels in the sand. We would build them underground to make it cooler. I feel like this is an early sign of my creativity.

Me and my grandad also used to make boats out of the sand, as in a full on speedboat that I could sit inside. This made me look like the coolest kid on the beach, and would attract the attention of other children who I then made friends with. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a photo of any of the boats we made :(

Upon reflection, I feel as if these sand sculptures are a part of what made me the creative person I am today. It shows my motivation, creativity and passion for making something for a purpose.
