Coding Week 4

This week's coding session was important because we learnt about how to use basic CSS with the HTML we already knew. This allowed us to do so much more with text and image placement, size and type. To do this, we were set the practical task of redoing the main page of the Playwrights restaurant website. This has LOADS of code and with what we learnt, we could make this in a few lines of code. I think this was a good way for us to put what we learnt into practice. Doing this activity helped me to actually put the skills of using both HTML and CSS together into practice. I learnt how they work by actually doing the steps we were taught, and got to play about with the different options of sizes and positioning. Without doing a task, I don't think everything would have fallen into place like it did. After this session, I feel like making a website is actually doable and not (so) daunting anymore.
