Binding

Today, I managed to bind my Visual Narrative Publication for the Visual Communications Module. I prepared all my pages and although was shown how to bind them and was set the task to do at home, however I was determined to get all the binding done in the lesson so I could focus on the illustrations to go inside the publication. I had to stay in class for both sessions instead of just one, however after around 4 hours of work I managed to bind all the pages into place. Most of these were plain pages, however the double spreads for things like mark making and data visualisation, I made sure to stick in before binding them, so that the binding could be seen over the image instead of sticking the image over the binding.

I am now working at finishing the publication by completing all the tasks and making each fit my theme of 'Peace and Reconciliation'. I will post some pictures of the completed publication when it is done, but for now, here are some images of the binding process.

I hope you have enjoyed reading, stay tuned to see more of the finished publication!
